I ordered a TV recently and got notified that it had been delivered to fetch. It is a gated community, each building requires a fob to get into, so I kind of understand just having one company doing all the deliveries. I just moved into a new comlex and they utilize it and it's annoying. I've never had any consistent issues with the problems they claim to solve. For me specifically, it's just a pretty useless service. I toured a couple of properties that had Fetch and crossed them off my list after finding that out. When I pay for 2 day shipping, I tend to want 2 day shipping, not 2+1 day shipping :) I'd rather be restricted by office hours if there are no lockers, or risk the package being stolen (as it hasn't happened to me hardly ever) at my front door. So I get the negatives of Fetch, with no benefits. I get that there could be benefits for other people who can't be as flexible with their schedules, but I can't opt-out of it and tell courier just to leave my packages in front of my door. I'd rather just deal with the seller and/or courier than add another company in between. Fetch just adds another point in the chain where my package can get stolen or damaged. Oversized packages I make a point to be at home when they are expected to be delivered. I'd rather pay that money towards a package locker that I can use at my leisure than a service like Fetch that will just delay my delivery. Could be a timing thing and they've improved since you used them (unless your experience is ongoing). Sorry you had such a shit experience with them. It makes sense that they'd have better quality control where they're headquartered. And since we're talking about Fetch in the context of Austin apartment complexes, I'm guessing that my experience is probably closer to the norm for Austin customers. I think I've received one 15 minutes before the window, but the rest have been within the window.Īustin here. I’m truly curious…have you received a package in your delivery window because I have not. I think I commented elsewhere in this thread, but I've had one missed delivery, which I rescheduled for the next day and it showed up when scheduled on the retry. Sometimes they are out for delivery, cancel, then show up randomly the next day. Yes, the complex that I live in uses them.
